Allah
(God)
is the Sole Creator of everything that exists in the Universe including the Universe
itself. Allah (God) is above creation and He is uncreated, no one
has created Him. He is also the Sole Cherisher of the universe.

Such is Allah,
your Lord, the Creator of all things there is no god but He: then how you are
deluded away from the Truth!
Surah
(Chapter) al-Mu”min (The Believes) Qur-an 40:62
Allah
(God) is
Self-Existent. He existed even before the existence of time and space and cannot
be bound by these parameters. In fact, time and space are also included among
His innumerable creations. Allah (God) is Eternal and Imperishable.

everywhere.
No place in the entire Universe is empty of His Presence. He possesses no ears
And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him.
And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.
Surah
Chapter) Qaf Qur-an 50:16
Allah
(God)'s
Perception encompasses everything, but no one can perceive Him. He is above all
kind of human imagination. He cannot be compared with anything, for nothing is
comparable to Him. He is an Inconceivable Power that owns and pervades throughout
the Cosmos.
He can neither be known nor described by human imagination. As
a result, He has described Himself in His Own Words in His Last and Final Book,
the Holy Qur-an.

Allah!
There is no god but Allah, He is the Living the Self- subsisting Eternal.
No slumber can seize him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth.
Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permits? He knows what
(appears to his creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass
aught of his knowledge except as He wills. His throne does extend over the heavens
and the earth and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. For He
is the Most High the Supreme (in glory).
Surah
(Chapter) al-Baqarah (The Cow) Qur-an 2:255
This
famous Ayah (Verse) is known as Ayatul
Kursi that means Verse of Power.
The
Holy Qur-an explains the Omnipresence of Allah (God)
in the following Ayat (Verses):

“To
Allah belong the East and the West: Wherever you turn, there is the Presence
of Allah. For Allah is All Pervading, All Knowing.”
Surah
(Chapter) al-Baqarah (The Cow) Qur-an 2:115

“And verily We shall
recount their whole story with knowledge, for We were never absent (at any time
or place).
Surah
(Chapter) al-A’raf (The Heights) Qur-an 7:7
Allah
(God)
is Incomparable, Unique and Alone. No object of the universe can ever be compared
with Him because Allah (God) had created everything. He is the Only
Master and Owner of every thing in this universe. Only Allah (God)
has absolute Controls over every thing. He has Powers no one can have or even
imagine. He has absolute Powers over everything and He alone can create or put
an end to anything or everything whenever He wants.
No one can challenge
Allah (God) for anything He does.
Allah
(God) is fully Independent and needs no help. He possesses no human weaknesses
like sleep, forgetfulness, tiredness, hunger or thirst. Allah (God)
does not need any partners for anything He alone controls everything. He does
not depend on anything, but everything depends on Him. Only Allah
(God) is Perfect, He is above any mistakes or faults.

Say:
"Praise be to Allah, Who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion:
nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: Yes, magnify Him for His greatness
and glory!"
Surah
(Chapter) Bani Isra’il (Family of Israel) Qur-an 17:111
Taking
partners with Allah (God) is considered to be the most serious sin
that He will never forgive.

Verily!
Allah forgives not (the sin of) setting up partners (in worship) with Him,
but he forgives whom He wills sins other than that, and whoever sets up partners
in worship with Allah, has indeed strayed far away.
Surah
(Chapter) an-Nisa” (The Women) Qur-an 4:116
Contrary
to the Christian belief, that God rested on the seventh day after creating
the universe; Allah (God) does not require any rest. He never tires
and he never requires any sleep.

Allah!
There is no god but Allah, He is the Living the Self- subsisting Eternal.
No slumber can seize him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and
on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permits? He
knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall
they compass aught of his knowledge except as He wills. His throne does extend
over the heavens
and the earth and He feels no fatigue in guarding
and preserving them. For He is the Most High the Supreme (in glory).
Surah
(Chapter) al-Baqarah (The Cow) Qur-an 2:255
Nothing
is hidden from Allah (God). He knows everything that we do, think
or intend to do. He knows all about every thing big or small which happens anywhere
in this universe.

No doubt! They did
fold up their breasts that they may hide from Him. Surely, even when they cover
themselves with their garments, He knows what they conceal and what they reveal.
Verily, He is the All-Knower of the (innermost secrets) of the breasts.
Surah
(Chapter) Hud Qur-an 11:5
Allah
(God)
cares about His creation, and He is always very close to all his creations.

And indeed We have
created man, and We know what his own self whispers to him. And We are nearer
to him than his jugular vein.
Surah
(Chapter) Qaf Qur-an 50:16
Islam
believes in the Unity of Allah (God) and negates the multiplicity
of gods. The following Surah (Chapter) clearly explains the
concept of Tawhid (The Unity of Allah)
in a very simple manner.

Say: He is Allah,
the One and Only.

Allah, the Eternal and Absolute,

He begets not, nor is He begotten,

And there is none like unto Him.
Surah (Chapter) al-Ikhlas
(The Purity) Qur-an 112:1-4
The
following verse confirms the impossibility of the multiplicity of gods.

“If
there were many gods, there would have been utter chaos. But glory to Allah the
Lord of the Throne, High above is what they attribute to Him.”
Surah (Chapter) al-Ambiya’
(The Messengers) Qur-an 21:22
Belief
in Allah (God) is, that He should be believed Unseen. A believer
believes in His Existence as truth without seeing Him, and an unbeliever doubts
the truth without seeing, and demands visual perception. Allah (God),
therefore, praises the believers for their belief in the Unseen.

“Who
believe in the Unseen and perform Prayers and spend out of what we have
provided for them.” “They are on true guidance from their Lord, and they are successful.”
Surah (Chapter) al-Baqarah
(The Cow) Qur-an 2:2,4,5
No
one knows about the schemes of Allah (God). Everything Allah
(God) does is meaningful. No one has the wisdom to second-guess Allah
(God).
Islam
has offered a unique concept of the Oneness of Allah (God), which
is known as Tawhid. Tawhid means the
Oneness of Allah (God). This Oneness does not indicate towards One
Object who is called Allah (God), but it means that He is Absolutely
One, Absolutely Pure i.e. He is not composed of any element or matter. It is essential
for perception that the object of perception should be composed of some elements.
And since Allah (God) is not composed of any element or matter,
it is impossible to perceive Him.
Some
religions believe that Allah (God) has a son. Muslims believe
that Allah (God) is way beyond such humanly relationships; He has
no parents, children or family.

No son did Allah
beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold,
each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded
it over others! Glory to Allah (He is free) from the (sort of) things they
attribute to Him!
Surah
(Chapter) al-Mu”minun (The Believers)
Qur-an 23:91
Moreover if
we conceive of a perceivable Allah (God), we will confine Him to
certain perceivable dimensions according to human intellect. Since Allah
(God) cannot be confined in direction, space, time, mass and magnitude, it is
impossible for us to perceive Him.
The
meaning of Tawhid is believing in One and Only Allah
(God). It stems from the fact that there is nothing like Him. He is Unique in
His Existence. No one deserves to be worshipped besides Allah (God).
The greatest sin in the eyes of Allah (God) is to associate someone
with Him. Since He is Uniquely Alone, and Incomparable, it is illogical to associate
anyone with Him. Whatever power or energy one has is derived from Allah
(God), the Most Powerful. No one howsoever big or important one may be can act
like Allah (God). All Rusul (Messengers) He had sent to this
world were humans and His slaves. They do not possess any specials powers of their
own. They merely obeyed the commands of their Lord.
Allah
(God) has always been there since nothing existed and He would always be there
when everything would cease to exist.
Allah
(God) had created humans for the purpose of worshipping only Him.

Your Lord has decreed
that you worship none but Him,
and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in
your life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them
in terms of honor.
Surah
(Chapter) Bani Isra’il (Family
of Isra’il) Qur-an 17:23
