Ibrahim R was a son of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S.

 

Ibrahim R was the last child of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S, to be born. Ibrahim R was the only child of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S, who was born in Madinah. Rest of his children were born in Makkah.

Ibrahim R was the only child of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S, who was not born to Khadijah bint Khuwaylid R, first wife of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S.

Mother of Ibrahim R bin Muhammad S, was Mariyah Qibtiyah R, a slave girl from Misr (Egypt). She was a part of the gifts, sent by Bishop of Misr (Egypt) to the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S, to show his goodwill.

The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S freed Mariyah Qibtiyah R and married her in the year 7H (Hijrah) (628 AD).
 

Sirin, a sister of Mariyah Qibtiyah R was also a part of the package sent by the Bishop. She was married to Hassan bin Thabit R.

Duldul, the white mule, a favorite of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S, was also a part of the gifts.

Ibrahim R bin Muhammad S was born in the year 8H (Hijrah).

Like other sons of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S, Ibrahim R, also died in his infancy.

Ibrahim R bin Muhammad S died in the year 10H (Hijrah) (631 AD), when he was only eighteen (18) months of age. A solar eclipse occurred on the day of his death.

The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S offered Salah Kusuf (Prayers for the solar eclipse).
 

Mariyah Qibtiyah R, the mother of Ibrahim R bin Muhammad S died in the year 16H (Hijrah) (637 AD).
